## Executive Summary
Apple will announce a new smart home hub on Tuesday called the HomeView, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

## Why It Matters (Strategic Analysis)
Integrating local edge processing via the A18 chip into a dedicated smart home display marks Apple's transition toward unified on-device edge orchestration for IoT ecosystems. This hardware architecture bypasses prior limitations of software-only frameworks like HomeKit by anchoring device control directly to local silicon.
